This bespoke eclectic kitchen in the Cotswolds adopts a modern and stylish interpretation on a traditional shaker kitchen.
This Kitchen Project
To add to the traditional look and feeling of this kitchen, the cabinets included a cock-beaded in-frame. These beaded in-frames also add an extra level of protection to the edges of the cabinets, adding to the sustainability of quality of the kitchen.
As with all of our kitchens, quality paints were utilised in the hand painted cabinetry in this Cotswold kitchen. We opted for Farrow and Ball paints in a two tone style of eggshell blue and white.
A feature that really draws the eye in this kitchen design is the cooking area. The design was fitted with a Pearl Ashes Aga and Carrara Marble splashback that sits beneath a bespoke made centrepiece canopy.
To add to the class of this already stunning kitchen, a contemporary freestanding island was fitted into the centre of this kitchen. With a white Honed Carrara Marble worktop, this island contrasts against the existing black marble worktops through the rest of the kitchen. The island also features deep drawers that provide additional storage, leaning into the purpose of a shaker kitchen.
