Project Brief
Our client wanted a kitchen that combined timeless elegance with modern functionality. The design needed to reflect a classic look with bespoke cabinetry, premium finishes and carefully selected appliances, all working together to create a space that was both practical and beautiful.
Our Approach
Cheverell managed every stage of the project, starting with the removal of the old kitchen and flooring before taking care of plumbing, electrics and decorating. By keeping everything in-house, we were able to oversee each element of the process to ensure the highest standard of finish.
The centrepiece of the design is our bespoke shaker-style furniture, crafted with cockbead frames for a refined look and hand-painted in Farrow & Ball colours chosen by the client. Manufactured in our Wiltshire workshop, each cabinet was built and finished by hand, reflecting the quality and attention to detail that defines a Cheverell kitchen.
Design Highlights & Partner Collaborations
Every detail was chosen to complement the overall vision of the kitchen. The cabinetry is paired with elegant work surfaces supplied by Landford Stone, bringing durability and natural beauty to the design. Underfoot, Ca’ Pietra flooring grounds the space with a sense of warmth and permanence.
Appliances were carefully selected to balance performance and style. A Lacanche range provides the centrepiece for cooking, supported by premium appliances from Miele, Fisher & Paykel and Liebherr. Ventilation is seamlessly integrated with an extractor from Westin Hoods, while a heritage Shaws of Darwen Belfast sink and a Quooker boiling tap add a perfect blend of tradition and modern convenience.
The finishing touches bring the design together. Cabinetry hardware from Armac Martin adds understated detail, while ambient and task lighting from Nkuku creates a versatile atmosphere. The kitchen was styled by Lucy Anderson Interiors and beautifully captured by Adam Carter Photography, showcasing the craftsmanship and design at its very best.
The Result
The completed kitchen is a harmonious balance of classic design and modern living. From the hand-painted cabinetry and natural stone surfaces to the premium appliances and fine detailing, every element has been tailored to the client’s lifestyle.
