This Kitchen Project
This kitchen was designed with a shaker style in mind, with both functionality and simplicity at the forefront of the design.
At Cheverell, we only use quality paints and this kitchen, fitted in Bath, was no exception. The cabinetry of this kitchen design was hand-painted with a light Farrow and Ball paint and installed with brushed metal steel handles that were recessed into the body of the cabinet door.
Calcutta Gold Quartz worktops were then added to this design which combined perfectly with the light colour of the cabinetry. On top of this, we incorporated a full height splashback, helping to create a brighter and more elegant cooking area.
To help add to the functionality for the customer, Mile appliances were seamlessly fitted within the cabinetry at eye-level for easy access alongside a smooth and compact finish.
One of the most unique features of this design is the oak lap trays, blended into the design of the cabinetry. These lap trays offer a different style of dining for those more relaxed days.
An island, fitted with a double sink was added to the design and placed in the centre of the kitchen. Quooker Flex taps and a Quooker soap dispenser was added to the sink for a sleek addition to the design as well as convenience. Leaning more into the shaker design, the island boasts additional storage for cooking books and kitchen essentials.
This kitchen went the extra mile by adding a bespoke seating and dining area to the end of the island. This L-shaped seating area also features two electrical ports to allow for device charging.
